Born in Seoul in 1995, she began playing the piano at the age of five and dedicated herself to music from an early age. Between the ages of eight and twelve, she gained extensive experience as a soloist and choir singer at the Korean National Opera. She performed in various opera productions, including Carmen in collaboration with the choir of the Romanian National Opera. She further expanded her stage experience through performances in Tosca, Turandot, Yuzuru, Wozzeck, The Magic Flute, Carmen, and La Bohème in Seoul and across South Korea. Additionally, she performed Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the Seoul National University Orchestra and collaborated with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2011, she has deepened her musical foundation by studying conducting with Prof. Ji-hwan Kim and music theory and composition with Prof. Jun-il Kang. After graduating from high school, she moved to Germany to study musicology, philosophy, and conducting, further broadening her musical perspective. She later completed studies in piano, music theory, chamber music, and music education, obtaining both an artistic diploma and a diploma in music pedagogy.
Alongside her artistic career, she has also been actively engaged as a cultural planner and concert organizer. In South Korea, she planned and participated in numerous artistic projects, including interdisciplinary art events, classical concert productions, and cultural initiatives integrating various art forms. She played a key role in organizing programs that fostered cultural exchange between Korea and Europe.
Each year, she worked in Hamburg, the hometown of Johannes Brahms, as a planner and performer in Brahms concerts alongside fellow musicians. Additionally, she received support from cultural foundations to facilitate artistic connections between East Asia and Europe.
After completing her studies, she moved to Vienna, Austria, to further her knowledge in composition and music theory at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Gerald Resch. Currently, she is expanding her artistic depth through studies in music theory and analysis with Prof. Frauke Jürgensen and Prof. Annegret Huber, as well as media composition with Prof. Judit Varga.
Today, she is active in both Austria and South Korea, establishing herself as a prominent musician and cultural leader. She is particularly committed to supporting the younger generation and building sustainable artistic networks between Korea and Europe
